As a member of the National Construction Industry Forum (NCIF), the Civil Contractors Federation welcomes the endorsement of the Blueprint for the Future, which marks a major milestone in creating a safer, fairer and more productive industry.
Developed through constructive dialogue between unions, contractors, business and Government, the Blueprint sets out shared priorities for reform. Nine key recommendations have been agreed as the first stage of implementation, with work now underway on a Forward Workplan and a Construction Industry Charter to embed shared goals and behavioural expectations.
For the CCF, this is about ensuring the voice of civil contractors is heard and reflected in reform. Our members are central to delivering the infrastructure Australia relies on, and their role in shaping this Blueprint will help drive real and lasting change.
